About us

The Lodge:

  • Bedroom 1 - Stag: With two single beds that can be pushed together to make a super king size bed. Bedside table and a storage area. Rear facing towards woodland. 


  • Bedroom 2 - Highland Coo: With a double bed, bedside tables, storage. Rear facing towards woodland.


  • Bedroom 3 - Red Squirrel: With bunkbeds and a storage area. Side facing.


  • Bathroom 1 - Bath with shower, sink, toilet, storage.


  • Bathroom 2 - Shower, compact sink, toilet.


  • Living Space - Open plan kitchen, dining, living area. Fully equipped kitchen, dining table with bench and four chairs, wood burning stove, 4 seater sofa, 2 seater sofa. Games cabinet.


  • Decking - With steps down to the front grass area. The decking area has the idyllic view over the loch. Light the BBQ and enjoy your meal outside with the table and chairs provided.



  • Hot Tub - Relax in the Master spas 6 person hot tub after a long day exploring, take in the ever changing scenery with views over Loch Oich. By night look up to the sky full of stars and stargaze. Look out for the northern lights and shooting stars.


Location:

Located close to the banks of Loch Oich, part of the Caledonian Canal in the Scottish Highlands. The lodge sits in front of a large dense Pine forest teeming with wildlife. Take a walk or cycle onto the Great Glen Way, following the woodland, loch side track will lead you to Inverness or Fort William whichever direction you choose. As your base in the heart of the Scottish Highlands a short journey will take you to Loch Ness, Ben Nevis, Glenfinnan, Isle of Skye. The list is endless.

Rules

Thank you for following our house rules and respecting Bonnie Lodge:

• No smoking in the lodge or on the decking areas at any time.

• Dogs must not go on the furniture.

• Please keep noise to a minimum on a night.

• Please don’t remove anything from the lodge.

• Report all breakages as soon as possible.

• Key must be kept in key safe when leaving the lodge.

• Maximum number of persons 6.

• Maximum number of pets 2.

• No parties.

• Please use plastic glasses provided in the hot tub.

• Please do not hang any items of wet clothing on the bedroom electric radiators, this is a fire risk and also can cause staining to the white radiators. (The towel radiators in each bathroom come on automatically to dry wet clothes and towels)

• Please could all shoes and boots be removed at the door to help protect the bedroom carpets.

• Please ensure that the BBQ is cool before re-covering.

• Midge nets and repellent spray are provided in the bathroom. Could we please ask that they are returned on your departure.

• If using the beach area or jetty please take any rubbish away with you.

• Due to wild swimmers, fishing is not permitted off the jetty or around the beach/bench area, park management will request that you move to another location. (There are many secluded bays/beaches to fish from if you turn right out of the lodge and follow the path to the far side of the park, a track follows the Lochside.)

• Boats with engines are not allowed to be launched or used due to wild swimmers and current damage to the jetty. Any other type of boat; dingy, raft, paddleboard, canoe etc is fine to use.

• Please ensure hot tub cover is opened correctly as per instructions and re-covered when not in use.

• Please leave the lodge as you find it.
